Information we collect

Site analytics may collect technical and activity information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and links or buttons used. Analytics tools may use cookies or similar identifiers to recognize visits and measure performance.

When you request a free resource, subscribe to email, make a purchase, or contact support, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, tattoo-business details, purchase status, and messages to our team.

Kit, Stripe, and earlier purchases

Kit is our email service. It may process information submitted through an email signup or resource-request form so we can deliver the resource and email you agreed to receive. Stripe processes the current one-time product checkout, payment, receipt, and refund information under its own terms and privacy practices.

If an earlier purchase used a different provider, including Gumroad, its original provider may continue to handle that transaction or subscription. Your original receipt identifies the provider.

We may receive limited subscriber and buyer records, including email addresses, purchase or subscription status, transaction identifiers, and attribution information, to deliver access, provide support, honor opt-outs, reconcile purchases, and measure our offers. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number on this site.

Information we do not intentionally collect

Do not send tattoo-client health information, government identification, signatures, consent or release forms, or completed consent records through a Tatassist form or support email. If you send this information accidentally, contact us so we can take reasonable steps to remove it.

How we use information

• Operate, secure, and improve the website and artist resources.
• Deliver requested guides, email updates, and purchases.
• Provide support and process eligible refunds or cancellation requests.
• Measure traffic, offer interest, and product use.
• Prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and meet legal or tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us operate Tatassist, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. Those providers process information under their own agreements and policies.

Email choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. A marketing opt-out does not prevent transaction, access, refund, or support messages necessary to serve you.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including access records, support, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and legal obligations. No online system is completely secure. We use reasonable safeguards and limit the information we ask artists to provide.

Your choices and questions

You may ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information we control, subject to records we must keep for legitimate business or legal reasons. Email syd@tatassist.com. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information.

We may update this policy as our services change. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
